Men of the Ogun State Police Command have captured two suspects, Lekan Odusote, 27, and Monday John, 22, over the killing of a yet to be distinguished ‘okada’ rider before grabbing his cruiser.
The two suspects, who are locals of Ijebu-Ode, purportedly tricked the bicycle man to Ikangba region of Obalende in Ijebu-Ode where they supposedly executed him and took his carcass to an uncompleted structure and covered him in a shallow grave.
As per an announcement by the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, “having finished with the Okada man, they took his cruiser to Ijebu-Igbo where they sold it at the pace of N120,000.”
Abimbola uncovered that, “karma, in any case, kept running against them when they were going to share the cash due to their powerlessness to concede to a specific sharing formular.”
The contradiction, Oyeyemi stated, prompted a genuine quarrel among them and a portion of their professions pulled in the doubts of individuals around, who educated the police.
