The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) on Saturday protected a pregnant lady, battling to drive herself to emergency clinic in the midst of distress of work torments.
Mr Bisi Kazeem, the FRSC representative, who revealed this in an announcement on Sunday, said this happened in Lagos.
He said that a watch group having a place with the Airport Unit Command of the Corps, at about 2.34 p.m. located the pregnant lady.
“She was struggling to drive amidst painful labour and was rushed to a nearby hospital in Ajao Estate, where she was delivered of a baby girl barely three hours later,’’ he said.
Kazeem clarified that the signal was a piece of the Corps legal duty of sparing lives through brief salvage benefits on the streets.
Kazeem said that the FRSC Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, have communicated profound thankfulness to the watch group for the brief mediation and salvage administrations.
he said Oyeyemi further hailed them for such demonstration of sympathy and penance which was a positive portrayal of the genuine strategic the Corps.
He noticed this was one among a large number of such intercessions that the agents of the Corps complete every now and then as they set out on the lookout.
