The Southern Kaduna People’s Union, SOKAPU, has asserted that Governor Nasir el-Rufai was not prepared for harmony in the state.

The association saw that until the governor tenders statement of regret to Southern Kaduna individuals and the older folks over his slanderous remarks against them, it will be taken that the harmony cycle of the administration is a ploy.

Responding to the Peace Summit as of late sorted out by the Nigeria Christians Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, in Southern Kaduna, SOKAPU’s Public Relations Officer, Mr. Luka Binniyat said that Southern Kaduna pioneers are consistently prepared to take an interest in a certified harmony measure in the state.

The governor, the announcement clarified, chose to start the harmony highest point as a face-sparing measure, focusing on this is after he had called the pioneers names and transparently upheld the Fulani herders against their kin in Southern Kaduna.

It said that the individuals are not against the harmony highest point, saying that what’s going on in Southern Kaduna under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari is unusual as the rustic networks are being taken over by Fulani volunteer army who are executing their kin.

SOKAPU claimed that since 2015, assaults were focused at Christian people group, saying that President Buhari and Governor El-Rufai are not saying reality.

The announcement saw that the Federal and Kaduna State governments are just attempting to spare their countenances under extreme analysis over the destruction and different abominations.

It said Kidnapping of Christians in Chikun and Kajuru has taken over N400 million paid as payment to the Fulani hijackers, including that there is no week this year that ministers were not seized or executed.

SOKAPU noticed that under a real harmony measure, the coordinators ought to have called those straightforwardly influenced by the emergency and the culprits of the viciousness for conversation and show up at a genuine international agreement.

The announcement asserted that the individuals who were uprooted are as yet living under sub-human conditions without any delegates of the people in question and the individuals who executed the viciousness were not there, focusing on that they just brought the intelligent people, government authorities and their gathering men.

“So, there is the need to know them. They are inviting communities as observers. That is not how to bring about enduring peace. If you are talking about a genuine peace process, you have to bring the victims and those who perpetrated the atrocities together. How can there be peace if the more than 50,000 people displaced cannot go back to their homes and communities. How can there be peace if the invaders are still occupying the communities,” SOKAPU observed.
