The Economic and Financial Crimes, EFCC, Enugu Zonal Office, has captured 13 suspects for purportedly captivating in digital wrongdoing and web extortion.
Three of the suspects were captured on January 17, 2019 at Awka, Anambra State, following insight reports and observation completed on them. Six were captured at Ngwo in Enugu State, while four were captured at a domain in Abakpa territory of Enugu State.
Things recuperated from them incorporate nine extraordinary autos going from Toyota Avenza, Toyota Lexus, Toyota Hillux, Toyota avalon,Mercedez Benz among others. Others incorporate PCs, printers, cameras, telephones, costly beverages and other belongings.
The Zonal Head of the South East Zone of the commission, Ahmed Imam Usman, while tending to the Press on February 1, 2019 said the attack was ensuing upon the purpose of the acting EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu to heighten the Commission’s battle against web and digital fraudsters the nation over.

Charges have been drawn against the suspects and have been documented in court; they will before long be summoned.
