Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State has demanded that the result of the pending governorship political decision in the State would decide the odds of the South-West in the 2023 presidency.

Akeredolu said this after he assembled customary rulers to have a meeting with the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu.

This was soon after commissioning the Revenue House to stamp his subsequent term kick-off.

Despite the fact that Tinubu is yet to affirm in the event that he would run for the chief position, the previous Lagos State Governor is accepted to be peering toward the 2023 presidency.

Tinubu’s political infantry are as of now putting pseudo pressure groups and campaign equips in front of the contest..

Also, Governor Akeredolu focused on that what occurs in Ondo in October would go far to decide odds of the South-West in the 2023 presidency.

“The October 10 election in Ondo State is not about Akeredolu but about the future of Ondo State and the entire Yoruba nation because whatever the outcome will be shall determine our seriousness in the quest for the 2023 presidency,” the governor said.
