The Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, NAMA, has said it has moved its corporate base camp from Lagos to Abuja.
The General Manager, Public Affairs of the office, Mr. Khalid Emele revealed this announcement on Sunday in Lagos.
Emele said this was in consistence with the ongoing mandate from the Federal Ministry of Aviation, asking all organizations in the segment to migrate operational central command to the country’s capital.
“This is to ensure efficient and effective coordination and enhanced service delivery between the ministry and its agencies.
”Meanwhile, the Managing Director, Capt. Fola Akinkuotu and other critical staff of the agency had since relocated to the new NAMA headquarters in Abuja.
“This is in strict adherence to the ministry’s directive while arrangements are being made for other strategic staff to follow suit in due course,’’ he said.
He additionally expressed that all requests and correspondences to NAMA ought to be diverted through the office’s corporate location at 6, Ogbia Close, Off Arochukwu Street, Garki 2, Abuja.
As indicated by him, all NAMA web-based social networking handles had been acclimated to mirror this change.
NAN reports that the Minister of Aviation had, in a letter dated May 4, requested all the organizations under it to move their operational central command to Abuja inside 45 days.
