Manchester United players were ‘stunned’ by the choice of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to take Paul Pogba off punishments after the 1-1 draw with Wolves, the UK Sun reports.
The spot kick was granted at 1-1, enabling United to retake the lead in the subsequent half.
Pogba ventured up in the wake of talking about with Marcus Rashford and saw his exertion palmed away by Rui Patricio and the game in the end finished in a draw.
Solskjaer was irate with the hesitation appeared by Pogba and Rashford at such a key point during the match.
