A conspicuous Gombe indigene, Babayo Gidado, is dead. Gidado, 79, filled in as Chief of Staff to previous Governor, Danjuma Goje.
Gombe Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has communicated misery over the death.
On Monday, he portrayed the event as death as an immense misfortune to the state.
Yahaya, in a sympathy message, said Gidado was an ardent Muslim, recognized honorable man and committed community worker.
He noticed that the perished was a prepared manager who served the state perseveringly and earned the regard and profound respect of the individuals.
Yahaya said Gidado, as a teacher, administrator, Clerk to Gombe House of Assembly and Chief of Staff to Goje, “exhibited high sense of honesty, discipline and moral rectitude”.
The governor added that the passing was “a monumental loss to his immediate family, associates and community members”.
Yahaya asked Almighty Allah to compensate the perished’s acceptable deeds with Aljannat Firdaus and award those he abandoned the guts to manage the misfortune.
