The Federal Government is set to deliver a rundown of nations that can fly into the country.

This comes as the resumption of worldwide flights has been moved to Friday, September 4.

Speaking at the daily briefing of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 on Thursday, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Director-General, Captain Musa Nuhu, noted the list will be ready next week.

“In due course and very shortly, we will announce the protocols once the logistics are done, the protocols for the resumption and also further details on the principles of reciprocity that we mentioned will be given.

“We are looking at a list and we are working on that and hopefully early next week, we will release it,” Nuhu said.

A week ago, the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, clarified that Nigeria will will apply the principle of reciprocity.

Sirika clarified that this standard implied transporters from all nations that restricted departures from Nigeria, would likewise not be permitted to fly into Nigeria.
