The Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office endorsed lawful offense criminal accusations against Smollett for untidy lead and recording a bogus police report.
Jussie Smollett touched off a firestorm via web-based networking media by telling police on Jan. 29 that two clear supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump reviled him, punched him, poured a compound substance over him and put a rope around his neck.
“This is Maga nation,” he said they had let him know, alluding to President Donald Trump’s Make America Great Again motto.
