The Adamawa State section of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), has suspended its Secretary, Mr. Anthony Elishama, over supposed bungle of N1,350,000.

The suspension is to most recent three months, inside which time he is to discount the cash.

The suspension request was contained in an announcement marked by the state Chairman of CAN, Bishop Stephen Mamza, who asked Anthony Elishama to restore every single authority property to the CAN State Secretariat in Yola right away.

In the announcement acquired Saturday evening, Mamza clarified that Elishama’s suspension was chosen during the state official gathering of the relationship on Thursday.

According to the CAN chairman, “Mr. Anthony Elishama’s suspension is as a result of mismanaging of funds belonging to the Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) to the tune of N1.350 million.”

He said the state official of CAN communicated dissatisfaction by the secretary’s activity, including that CAN authority had zero resilience to a money related indiscipline.

He said that the secretary’s suspension would produce results from June 20, 2020, pending the state official council’s ultimate conclusion on the issue.
