The Nigerian Senate on Tuesday got President Muhammadu Buhari’s solicitation for affirmation of Alhaji Lamido Yuguda as the new Director-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) nearby three different chosen people.

The three different chosen people are to fill in as full-time magistrates of the commission.

The letter peruses: “In accordance with Section 3 and 5(1) of the Investment and Securities Act 2007, I write to demand for affirmation by the Senate, the arrangement of the accompanying four candidates as Director General and Commissioners of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Their CVs are appended herewith.

The names for affirmation are: Mr. Lamido A. Yuguda, Director General; Reginald C. karausa, full-time Commissioner; Ibrahim D. Boyi, full-time Commissioner; and Mr. Obi Joseph, full-time Commissioner.
