The Acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, was “not arrested” on Monday.

As per the EFCC, he just regarded a greeting by a Presidential Panel surveying the exercises of the office.

The Head of Media, Dele Oyewale, said this in an announcement on Monday.

Oyewale explained that Magu “was served the invitation to the Panel, while on his way to the Force Headquarters, Abuja, for a meeting.”

The representative revealed that an individual from EFCC lawful group was likewise with Magu as he confronted the board.

Magu was gotten by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Wuse and taken to the Villa.
