Atiku Bagudu, legislative head of Kebbi state, has been chosen executive of All Progressives Congress (APC) Governors’ Forum.
He was chosen at a gathering the APC governors held at Imo senator’s cabin in Abuja on Thursday night. Bagudu, whose race was consistent, supplanted Rochas Okorocha, legislative head of Imo state. Okorocha’s residency will terminate on May 29.
The legislature of Kebbi communicated enchant over the improvement in a tweet on Thursday. “We are exceptionally happy to report that Governor Atiku Bagudu of @KBStGovt is presently our Chairman. Resulting official statements and briefings will be made with this impact,” the tweet read.
Talking on his arrangement, the Kebbi senator guaranteed to give authority to the discussion to understand the gathering’s “aggregate vision to construct a solid, equitable and comprehensive APC”. On Thursday, Kayode Fayemi, Ekiti state senator, was named director of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), while Seriake Dickson, Bayelsa state representative, was chosen administrator of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum, that day.
