Forty-eight hours after the Court of Appeal maintained the suspension of All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole, a FCT High Court has provided another request concerning the gathering initiative.

On Thursday, Justice S. U. Bature, conceded the supplication of the Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom, to be perceived as bona fide Acting National Chairman.

The request dated June 18, 2020, on suit No FCT/HC/M/7707/2020 and stretches out the past request conceded to Giadom on March 17, 2020, was expanded.

This implies in two days, three people became APC Acting National Chairman.

Hours after the decision on Oshiomhole, the decision party declared previous legislative leader of Oyo State as the Acting National Chairman.

However, on Wednesday, APC reported that Hilliard Etta will demonstration of benefit of Ajimobi, a previous Senator who has been away from the general population lately because of medical problems.

Wole Afolabi, the legal advisor to Giadom, had denounced the Ajimobi’s arrangement.

He said APC acted “In complete obliviousness of the request for the FCT High Court gave on sixteenth of March, 2020, by Hon. Equity S.U Bature in Suit No. FCT/HC/M/6447/2020”, such that Giadom is to go about as the National Chairman because of Oshiomhole’s suspension.

Afolabi reviewed that the request was given that day the Court of Appeal gave Oshiomhole a transitory reprieve by remaining the execution of the request suspending him.

The insight said after the Court of Appeal avowed Oshiomhole’s suspension, the APC ought to have actualized the request perceiving Giadom, rather than declaring Ajimobi.

In the interim, Mustapha Salihu, APC National Vice Chairman (North East) has spoken on the most recent court judgment which requested that he go about as the National Secretary.

The adjudicator said Salihu (recorded as the fourth litigant) should act in the position pending “the choice of a truly gathered National Executive Committee, NEC or pending the meeting and assurance of the movement on notice previously documented, whichever starts things out.”

Responding, Salihu pronounced that he was unable to have been a piece of the request since he was at a gathering of the gathering’s North East partners where Waziri Bulama was supported as Acting National Secretary.

He said the zone has nominated Bulama “in the presence of the Senate president, APC governors from the zone and other party stakeholders as the acting national secretary.

“I was at the meeting where this decision was reached. So why now would I go back to obtain a court order to act as national secretary? I was not part of such shenanigan.”

Salihu stated that it was not in his character to play “dirty politics”.

“I condemn in strong terms those behind the act. At a time like this when the party is going through trying times, it is such a time that all lovers of the party must pull together to keep the party running,” the APC official said.
