The Anambra State Ministry of Health has propelled a day by day update on the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Vincent Okpala reported the dispatch on Monday evening with a case update diagram, indicating the quantity of tainted people in different neighborhood government territories in the state.
The outline introduced demonstrated that 13 out of the 21 nearby government zones of the state have tumbled to the pandemic, while eight were yet to record any case.
It accumulated that Awka South Local Government Area, which houses the capital domain drove the outline with 22 cases, while Onitsha North and Idemili North Local Government Areas followed with 11 and 10 cases individually
Okpala said, “The update will serve to arm Anambra people with sufficient information concerning the spread, containment and treatment of COVID-19 in the state.”
Senator Willie Obiano had a week ago reported the shutdown of a significant market in Awka capital region; Eke Awka, over mocking of the COVID-19 rules. The market is required to stay shut for about fourteen days.
