The Kano State Fire Service has affirmed that fire crushed 70 transitory shops at Yan’Katako Market in Rijayar Lemo territory of Kano.
The Spokesman of the State Fire Service, Alhaji Saidu Mohammed affirmed the occurrence saying 30 of the shops were totally demolished down while 40 were marginally scorched.
“We got a pain bring in the early long periods of Thursday at about 03:45 a.m. from one Bashir Suleiman that there was flame episode at the market. On getting the data, we rapidly sent a portion of our staff and putting out fires vehicles to the scene of the occurrence at about 03:52 a.m. to extinguish the flame so as not to influence different shops,” he said.
He prompted dealers at the market and different inhabitants to be increasingly cautious and halt from utilizing instruments equipped for activating flame as a method for guarding against future event.
Mohammed likewise exhorted the general population to keep fire pails, covers and quenchers that would empower them diminish any flame flare-up before approaching the flame administration. Mohammed said the reason for the flame is being examined.
